L'Œillette Trail

A picnic in the shade of the pine trees

If there’s one walk we always recommend when temperatures soar, it’s L’Œillette Trail.

The path winds through a beautiful forest where the shade of the trees keeps the walk pleasantly cool. Take your time, listen to the birds, breathe in the scent of the pine trees and leave the heat behind.

The bonus? A picnic table awaits you at the end of the trail. The perfect place to unpack your lunch, relax and enjoy a refreshing break before heading back.

💡 Our tip: Set off in the morning and bring a picnic! It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful break surrounded by nature.

The Garney Loop

A family favourite!

This is undoubtedly one of the most popular walks for young children… and their parents too.

The Garney Loop is an easy, fun trail that’s perfect even for the youngest walkers. Wander peacefully through the forest before reaching the little stream.

And once you’re there… it’s impossible to resist.

Take off your shoes, roll up your trousers and enjoy the refreshing cool water on your feet!

💡 Our tip: Don’t forget to pack a small towel in your backpack.

Not in the mood for hiking?

Discover our favourite ways to stay cool!

  • Take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool

You can’t talk about cooling off without mentioning Le Corbier’s outdoor swimming pool.

Whether after a sunny day or simply for a relaxing afternoon, it’s the perfect place to unwind.

Swim, cool off or simply relax on a sun lounger with the mountains as your backdrop. Not a bad view, is it?

The hardest part… will probably be getting out of the water!

  • Soar above the mountains with a paragliding flight

It may come as a surprise, but flying is also a great way to escape the heat.

Just moments after take-off, a refreshing breeze accompanies your flight. Silence takes over, breathtaking scenery unfolds beneath your feet and, for a while, you completely forget about the temperature.

A truly unforgettable experience we recommend at least once in a lifetime.

  • A night cani-hike under the stars

As the mountains cool down in the evening, it’s the perfect time for an adventure.

Accompanied by enthusiastic sled dogs, you’ll discover the trails in a completely different atmosphere.

The sunset colours appear, the air becomes pleasantly cool and the mountains reveal a whole new side.

A friendly, unique experience that’s often one of the highlights of a holiday.

  • Enjoy a film in the cool cinema

When the heat becomes too much, head to Le Corbier Cinema.

Located on the lower level, the cinema naturally stays cool, making it the perfect place to escape the hottest hours of the day before heading back out to enjoy the resort.

Popcorn, comfortable seats and the perfect temperature… what’s not to love?
