This winter, the resort is open from December 12, 2026, to April 9, 2027.
There are places
The places we think you simply shouldn’t miss.
Some places are just dots on a map. Others stay with you long after your holiday is over.
A viewpoint where you linger a little longer than expected. A family photo you’ll smile at years later. A favourite spot you return to every time you visit.
Rather than listing everything there is to see in Le Corbier, we’d like to share a few of our favourite places. The ones we regularly recommend at the Tourist Office, the ones we love showing to friends and family, and the places that each tell a little part of Le Corbier’s story.
Take in the views!
You can see it from the resort… so we highly recommend going up to discover what awaits at the top!
Mont Corbier is one of those places where it’s worth slowing down. As you climb, the scenery gradually unfolds and, once you reach the summit, you’ll quickly understand why we love recommending this spot.
Before you lies a breathtaking panorama of the Aiguilles d’Arves and the peaks of the Maurienne Valley.
Our tip? Don’t rush back down. Find a peaceful spot, sit for a while and simply take it all in. It’s often in moments like these that you truly realise your holiday has begun.
Between valleys and mountain peaks
How about hiking to the Col d’Arves?
For this one, don’t forget your hiking boots… or your snowshoes in winter!
The journey is just as rewarding as the destination. Leaving the resort behind, you’ll gradually make your way through alpine meadows, with the majestic Aiguilles d’Arves accompanying you for most of the walk.
Then you reach the Col d’Arves, at 1,748 metres above sea level, a natural pass linking the Maurienne and Oisans valleys.
It’s one of our favourite hikes to recommend for discovering a quieter, wilder side of the mountains. You’ll feel wonderfully far away from everything… even though Le Corbier is never very far away.
And if you’ve packed a picnic, you’ve just found the perfect place to enjoy it.
A relaxing break with a view
It’s hard to miss… but you still need to know where to look.
Perched high above the resort and facing the mountains, our giant hammock is probably the one place where you’re officially encouraged to do absolutely nothing.
Found the hammock?
Lie back, get comfortable and simply enjoy the view.
That’s it.
Well… almost. If you’re not alone, someone will inevitably pull out their phone to capture the moment!
The Ouillon photo spot
If you make your way to L’Ouillon, the meeting point of all the resorts in the Sybelles ski area, you’ll quickly spot some giant letters that are impossible to miss.
The #SYBELLES sign has become one of those holiday traditions: stand in front of the mountains, choose your favourite letter, squeeze everyone into the frame… and capture the perfect holiday photo!
It’s also here that the Sybelles regularly turns into a giant family playground during the Festi’Kids events, with entertainment specially designed for families throughout the season.
So if you’re passing by, make sure you stop.
A souvenir photo is a must!
Perfect for the whole family
Come here with the family, enjoy a gentle walk, let the children play, admire the mountains and listen to the nearby stream…
Just a short walk from the resort, Le Garney is one of our favourite spots thanks to its peaceful atmosphere and easy access for everyone.
There’s no need for a plan here — simply slow down, enjoy the fresh mountain air and spend time together outdoors.
Our little tip? Bring a picnic and make the most of it!
And you, what’s going to be
We’ve shared our favourites… but after a few days in Le Corbier, we’re pretty sure you’ll discover one of your own. Show us Le Corbier through your eyes!
Tag @lecorbier in your posts and stories on social media, and use #LeCorbier and #LesSybelles. We love seeing your holiday through your photos… and sharing our favourites with the community.
After all, the best memories of Le Corbier are the ones you create!
