Description

For centuries, humans have observed the Sun’s path to structure their days and measure time. Using a simple gnomon—the precursor to the sundial—it is possible to understand how our star naturally guides the passage of time.

During this workshop, participants will build their own wooden sundial and learn to tell time using the Sun’s shadow. It’s a unique and hands-on way to discover the apparent movement of our star while taking home a personalized creation.
