Le Corbier, the 100% serene ski resort
In Le Corbier, in Savoie, the satisfaction and serenity of everyone is at the heart of our priorities. Adapted transport, equipped flats at our accommodation providers, handiski, central lift, etc. The teams at the Tourist Office have compiled all the practical information in a guide dedicated to welcoming people with disabilities.

HOW TO GET THERE
  • Shuttle service Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne – Le Corbier

Regular service. Runs from 16 December 2023 to 13 April 2024. Must be booked 48 hours in advance. When booking, please inform the coach company of your disability so that an adapted vehicle can be made available. Regular route timetables and fares available at www.fauresavoie.fr or www.cars-region-savoie.fr

Book online and benefit from low fares.

  • Le Corbier internal shuttle – Navette rouge

Free shuttle service within the resort. Runs every day from 16 December 2023 to 12 April 2024. Timetable available from the Tourist Office or download here.

A retractable pallet allowing access to the bus is unfolded by the driver. Each shuttle has two places reserved for wheelchairs. A companion is required as the height of the ground varies according to the depth of the snow.

  • Le Corbier – La Toussuire shuttle – Yellow shuttle

Free shuttle running between Le Corbier and La Toussuire. Runs every day from 16 December 2023 to 12 April 2024 except Saturdays. In Le Corbier, departure from the P5 car park next to the riding centre. Runs every 30 minutes. Timetable available from the Tourist Office or download here.

  • Taxis – Ambulances ROUX

Roux taxis/ambulances are based in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (15 km from Le Corbier). Ambulance type ASSU, equipped with ramps for electric wheelchairs. Trained staff.

A lift is located near the Salle Atlas, in car park P5. It is available to people with disabilities. It provides access to the covered gallery and the station centre.

The residence has 2 fully-equipped flats for 6 people, with 2 bedrooms.
The flats are spacious to facilitate wheelchair access.
They have fully-equipped bathrooms (wheelchair access, shower chair, recess under washbasin, walk-in shower and support bar in WC).
2 parking spaces have been reserved to facilitate access to the residence, which is via the car park. There is a lift.
A bank reception is lowered reception.
The pool is equipped with a seat PMR. The relaxation area, with its sauna and steam room, is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.

It is accessible via the lift in the Atlas room, located in car park P5. Turn left into the shopping mall.

The ski area is open every day from 16 December 2023 to 12 April 2024. Exceptional closures subject to snow conditions and government decisions.

For disabled people, a 50% discount will be applied to 4 consecutive hours, 1 day, 5 days, 6 days and 7 days ski passes on presentation of a Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) with the mention disability. For people with disabilities requiring an accompanying person, a 50% discount on the same pass will also be granted.

  • ESF – French Ski School

Specialist instructors are on hand to help people with reduced mobility discover the joys of skiing using specially adapted equipment! Kart-skiing (or dual-skiing) offers accessibility and independence.

The cinema is located in the Ariane building.
A few steps lead up to the cinema, so an accompanying person is required. The cinema programme is detailed in the galleries, at the Tourist Office or online.

On the slope side, access to the establishment is via the shopping arcade, which is made up of several steps. On the valley side, access is via car park P5.
There is a staircase with 5 steps to access the facility. This requires the assistance of a carer. The pool is equipped with a lift to make it easier for disabled people to get into the water.
