Cross-country skiing and play areas
Cross-country skiing
In Le Corbier and the neighbouring resort of La Toussuire, 28 km of cross-country ski trails are available free of charge, with loops ranging from 1 km to 6 km to suit all ability levels, from green to red. A guide to the trails is available to buy at the Le Corbier and La Toussuire Tourist Office (€2) to help you plan your outings.
Snowpark
Fancy a thrill? Head to the Ouillon area, where the 4-hectare snowpark features features, kickers and rails for all skill levels. Whether you’re learning your first jump or looking to perfect your tricks, the Sybelles® snowpark is one of the most comprehensive in the Alps.
Freeride sensation
The days after a snowfall have a special feel to them in Le Corbier. The Jonquilles black run offers the thrill of freeriding in a marked and secure environment — ungroomed, but supervised, so you can enjoy the powder with complete peace of mind. Keep an eye on the snow reports, and be prepared to get up early.
Space of the Stars
This is where it all begins. Located right at the foot of the slopes, the Espace des Étoiles is entirely dedicated to teaching skiing: two magic carpets (the smaller of which is free), two ski lifts and a safe environment where beginners — young and old alike — can make their first tracks with complete peace of mind. An ideal spot for families wishing to introduce their children to skiing, in a reassuring and welcoming setting.
Giant hammock and photo spots
Between runs, take a well-deserved break in the giant hammock set up in the Ouillon area, on the Plan de la Guerre green run — with a panoramic view of the Aiguilles d’Arves. And to capture your stay, there are two photo spots you won’t want to miss: the #ILoveSybelles heart at the top of the Charvin Express, and the giant #Sybelles letters at Ouillon.
