Le Corbier

An emblematic Corbier hike, the Col d'Arves attracts lovers of wide open spaces with its sporty itinerary and breathtaking views of the Aiguilles d'Arves.

Description

Opposite the snow front, at the Tourist Office, turn left towards the bottom of the resort. At the Voie Lactée chairlift ticket office, take the street on the right below the GOELIA - Les Alpages du Corbier residence. Turn right into Rue du Cruet, then immediately right into the embankment. Walk up to the Saut piste, skirt it on the left, then turn left to arrive below the Mont Corbier chairlift and the Buddha ski restaurant. Follow a narrow path into the combe des Arvins, which joins the Lièvre piste. Follow it to the left, then turn left to reach the Col d'Arves.
From the pass, descend to the left towards La Baye. Continue along a track, then turn left twice to go back up to Cruet. From here, turn right onto the road to reach the resort.
