The Col de la Chal

A more challenging hike with a view of our beautiful Aiguilles d'Arves!

Description

Directions :
1 - From the Tourist Office, head for the Les Pistes residence at the top of the resort, taking the path above the Hôtel du Mont Corbier and turning left.
2 - Follow the signs for Le Col de la Chal. The path passes close to the arrival of the Ourson chairlift, then the Voie Lactée chairlift.
3 - At the Col de la Chal, take the path to the left of the hill reservoir (water reserve for the snow cannons in winter) and climb the slightly steep path to Crêt du Pallud, then down to Lièvre Bleu.
4 - At this intersection, turn left towards Combe des Arvins. This path alternates between alpine pastures and woodland.
5 - Take the farm track that passes under the Buddha Ski restaurant and the Mont Corbier chairlift. Continue along the 4x4 track to the resort center.

Good to know:
You can take great photos of the Aiguilles d'Arves reflected in the water of the Collinaire reservoir!
If it's very hot, leave in the morning, as this hike is not shaded.
