Le Corbier

A hike combining forest and hamlets. A wonderful discovery.

Description

Itinerary:
1 - Follow the buildings towards the bottom of the resort, then pass below the Les Alpages du Corbier residence.
2 - Take the "no entry" road (except for local services). Continue as far as the Le Cruet crossroads.
3 - Turn left, passing the Chapelle Sainte-Philomène, then straight ahead on the downhill path.
4 - At the bottom, turn right and follow the signs for Aire de pique-nique de l'œillette. At the picnic area, continue for a few metres and you'll see a path through the woods on your right.
5 - At the crossroads, take the path on the left towards Tour des Hameaux, then a little further on, cross a footbridge before arriving at Les Combes.
6 - Continue up the hill for 1km before arriving at Lac de Tigny. Rejoin the road, pass the campsite, then the small bridge and after about 100m, take the path on the right, direction Four à pain / Église.
7 - At the end of the path, turn left, then right. At the village square, cross the road, pass the town hall and continue on to Les Courts.
8 - From here, take the steep left-hand path towards Le Corbier. Rejoin the road and continue left.
9 - After the last house, at Les Fromentières, go straight on towards Le Corbier. Continue uphill for several metres before reaching the Pont du Garney.
10 - Cross the bridge and walk up to the equestrian center to reach the center of the resort.
