Go for a hike at the end of the day to the Col de la Chal. After a picnic lunch from your backpack, enjoy a reading of an excerpt from *Malédiction Royale* by its author, Emi Red, followed by a discussion. Return to the resort by torchlight.

Set out on a hike at the end of the day to the Col de la Chal for an experience that blends nature, heritage, and literature.
Accompanied by Fredo, a guide with a passion for the mountains, you’ll discover the mountain environment, its flora and fauna, and the natural beauty of the landscapes you traverse. Throughout the ascent, he’ll also share the legends surrounding the iconic Aiguilles d’Arves, offering a fresh perspective on this region steeped in history and tradition.
Upon arriving at the pass, enjoy a picnic lunch in an exceptional setting. The evening will continue with a reading of an excerpt from *Malédiction Royale* by its author, Emi Red, followed by an intimate discussion with her about her world and her novel.
As night falls, make your way back to the resort on a torchlit descent, bringing this interlude blending mountains and literature to a close in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Practical Information:
Hike requires registration with the Tourist Office.
Limited number of spots available.
Please bring hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and a headlamp if possible.
Participants should bring their own picnic lunch.
Return by torchlight (torches provided by the organizers).
